A STAR IS BORN

After months of machete use in the wilds of Kent, our founder decided the time was right to refine the design of our first machete - the BMC CHOPRA MACHETE.

The Chopra, as the name suggests, has one purpose in this world. That purpose is to Chop! Please visit the product page here for more details.

 

The Chopra is to be closely followed by the BMC Mamba Parang and BMC Grand Bolo. The Mamba Parang is a very svelte general purpose light machete.

 

The Para Bolo is in essence a slimmed down Chopra, a 'nimble chopper'. We are challenging this oxymoron as, where the BMC Chopra is a flat out 'Wood Chopper' we wanted the Para Bolo to effortlessly slice stinging nettles, brambles and vines whilst also excelling at processing green hardwood. To achieve this, the Chopra has effectively gone on a diet; being thinned down and stretched whilst still retaining the forward weighted design.

The 2023 releases feature a prominent and well thought out blade shape and is a new take on the traditional Bolo. We kept some weight forward in the blade as part of a never before seen design to help with those heavy chops.
