OUR STORY
Why Kickstarter?
We are a new brand and we like to design and make cool blades. Social media isn't our forte. The hope is Kickstarter offers a little more "eyes on" exposure. Not many people know they can buy a class-leading machete from us!

We are not some 'hypebeast' marketing agency slapping our strategy onto a junk product. We make cool blades and wanted more like minded people to see them. If KS is the right choice, only time will tell.

What is a 'Reward'? Is this safe?
We are learning that Kickstarter is a bit odd, but it is safe and your "pledge" to us is safe too.
We are in this for the long haul, not just one campaign attempt. Here's a secret - Kickstarter success or not, we are already in production and our first blade - The Chopra will be ready to ship this summer 2023.

You can buy now through Kickstarter (good for you as we are offering crazy discounts on them) OR you can buy/Pre-Order through our website here, and shipping will be a similar time frame (mid August).

Will I lose my money?
No, you won't. If the Kickstarter campaign comes up short, all backers (you) who have pledged your hard earned money will be returned back to you.

In this event, we would suggest you then take the returned funds and buy from our website! All Kickstarter terms will be honoured in such an event. Proof of KS Campaign backing required.

How much do your blades cost (on Kickstarter)?
You may be delighted to find out that our first run of Chopras offered on Kickstarter are well below RRP.
Blade only is £165 / $207 (subject to exchange rate)
Blade with Sheath is £210 / $265 (subject to exchange rate)
And there are a few other options available to choose too.

Here at the British Machete Company, we design, test and produce British Machetes in the UK. The steel is carefully chosen to offer great performance matching each blade patterns intended use profile.
All final assembly, blade honing and QC is performed in the Garden of England - Kent. High quality yet attainable blades for the discerning blade enthusiast.
