British Machete Co. aka BMC is our attempt at offering a British made cutlery product range of which we can all be proud.
There is a certain stuffiness to many traditional British designed and produced products, a seeming hesitance on behalf of those in charge to break new ground and offer something 'new'.
Zero concern for ergonomics and materials in products from the 17th Century being steadfastly incorporated into products marketed today.
BMC would like to change all that.
Our products are not groundbreaking in the least. Quite the contrary - blades are one of humankinds earliest tools. However we strive to offer tools where not just the function is considered, but the form, performance and user enjoyment is enhanced.
Our logo incorporates a bold font for the main acronym with 3 cuts of a machete, underlined by a larger top-down view of a beveled edge. Or is it one final underlining cut?
It is in our humble opinion, as unpretentious a name as we could create and we feel proud to stand behind it.
